Our Values
Our values – and our promise to you
Our service is defined in our policy statement as this promise to all residents, their relatives and loved ones:
We will promote and maintain the wellbeing of each resident in the home with a caring attitude – whilst maintaining their privacy and encouraging their independence.
Our aim
To ensure you, our residents, spend your mature years in a happy, healthy and safe family environment.
Our objective
To provide you, our residents, with the facilities to maintain your independence for as long as possible, whilst ensuring your privacy and dignity at all times.
Privacy
We respect the privacy of our residents and will do all we can to make sure they can lead private and independent lives.
Choice
We provide as much choice as is possible. Among other things, that means a wide choice of foods, with personal preferences catered for, and a choice of activities.
Independence
Preserving personal independence is vitally important for many of our residents, and we respect their wishes.
Dignity
We treat all people with respect and compassion, as equals. We listen to our residents and learn from what they have to say about our service.
Rights
Our residents have the right to be treated with humanity and with fairness, without fear of prejudice at all times.
Fulfillment
We want our residents to lead fulfilled lives – that means being able to observe their religious beliefs, enjoy their pastimes or share their interests with others in the community.
