Julie Wrighton
Care Manager
Julie Wrighton became the registered manager of Autumn House in 2020, stepping into a challenging environment with determination and vision.
Under her leadership, she successfully transformed the home from a “Requires Improvement” rating to “Good” by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), a testament to her strong leadership and passion for raising standards.
With 26 years of experience as a manager in the care industry, Julie has built an excellent reputation along the way. Her extensive knowledge and hands-on approach to management have made her a trusted leader in the field. Julie is passionate about ensuring that every resident receives the highest level of care and that the home operates with compassion, dignity, and respect.
Julie’s dedication and personable nature make Autumn House a place where both residents and staff feel valued, respected, and cared for. Her leadership has truly shaped the home’s nurturing atmosphere.

Lyn Grant
Deputy Manager
Lyn has been the Deputy Manager at Autumn House since 2020, joining the leadership team alongside Manager Julie. A dedicated and experienced registered nurse, Lyn leads the nursing team with professionalism and compassion. Since joining, she has further strengthened her expertise by achieving a Level 5 Health and Social Care qualification. Lyn plays a key role in maintaining high clinical care standards and supporting residents and staff across the home.

Gemma Pointon
Unit Manager
Gemma joined Autumn House in 2020 and has steadily progressed from her role as a nurse to become the Unit Manager. Known for her dedication and consistently going above and beyond for residents, Gemma brings both clinical expertise and heartfelt compassion to her role. Her commitment to high-quality care makes her a trusted and respected member of the team.

Lucy Elliot
Administrator
Lucy is the friendly and welcoming face of Autumn House, always ready to greet residents, families, and visitors with a smile. As the home’s Administrator, Lucy plays a vital role in keeping things running smoothly. Approachable and highly organised, she’s the go-to person for any queries—if she doesn’t have the answer, she’ll make sure to find someone who does. Lucy’s warm presence and helpful nature make her a valued part of daily life at Autumn House.
